We’ve seen a lot of London school trips. Really, we have. We’ve been there, done it all and worn an embarrassing I <3 LDN t-shirt. So there’s one thing we know to be true: planning a London school trip has the potential to be a major headache. But don’t worry, RDH are here to help! Here’s how…
Safety First, Always
As a Sussex-based and family run coach company, we have the expertise and insider knowledge to navigate our capital’s streets quickly and safely. Our clued-up office team and experienced drivers work together to find safe pick up/drop off points that are as flexible as your plans. All our coaches have fitted seat-belts, regularly checked, and our drivers are approachable, friendly and fully CRB checked.
If you need suggestions for entertainment – another activity that’s nearby to your morning spent at The Tower of London, for example, then we’re the team for you! If you’ve already dinosaur hunted at the Natural History museum, whizzed around the London Eye and felt the reverberations of Big Ben, then here’s a few of our current favourites for London school trips:
- The HMS Belfast – a WWII battle ship now tamed and anchored in the Thames. An interactive adventure of what life was like at sea in war-time, complete with gory details.
- The V&A Museum of Childhood – beautifully curated, their inventive exhibitions are not to be missed. The Great Diary Project offers an insight into children’s’ innermost thoughts throughout history, and the Jacqueline Wilson-dedicated exhibition explores creative writing and imagination.
- Matilda the Musical at the Cambridge Theatre – a children’s classic retold by the RSC, this production is irreverent and inventive. Fun for adults and kids alike, it absolutely retains Roald Dahl’s sparklingly dark humour.
